This page explains how PDFLayerExtract delivers processed files after payment.
After a successful payment, PDFLayerExtract generates a ZIP package based on the PDF analysis and processing result.
The ZIP package may include:
separated PDF layer/page files;
an Illustrator import script;
README instructions;
technical output notes;
supporting files needed for the Illustrator-ready workflow.
The exact contents may depend on the structure of the uploaded PDF and the processing result.
PDFLayerExtract is designed around a preview-first workflow.
You can upload a PDF and inspect the detected layers before payment. The preview helps you decide whether the file is worth processing.
Payment is only requested after the analysis step shows the available package and price.
After payment is confirmed, the final ZIP package becomes available for download directly in the browser.
A temporary access link may also be sent to the email address provided during checkout or payment.
Paid download access is temporary.
The final ZIP package and access link are intended to remain available for approximately 24 hours after successful payment.
After this period, the download link may expire and the files may be deleted automatically.
If you need the package, download it as soon as it becomes available.
If an email address is provided, PDFLayerExtract may send a 24-hour access link for the processed package.
Please make sure the email address is correct. If the email address is mistyped, we may not be able to resend the link unless you contact support with enough information to verify the payment and file.
PDFLayerExtract is built for short-term file handling.
Unpaid preview files are intended to be deleted after approximately 1 hour.
Paid processed packages are intended to remain available for approximately 24 hours after payment.
After deletion, files may no longer be recoverable.
PDFLayerExtract processes PDF files based on the data and structure available inside the uploaded PDF.
Some PDFs may not contain usable layer information. Some files may include flattened artwork, merged objects, unusual PDF structures, missing optional content groups, or other limitations that affect the result.
The preview step is provided to help you understand what the tool can detect before payment.
PDFLayerExtract is not a permanent file storage or archiving service.
You are responsible for downloading and safely storing the final ZIP package within the available access period.
If payment was confirmed but the ZIP package was not delivered, the download link did not work, or the generated package is technically unavailable, contact us at:
